A Beach Cruiser For A Birthday

So for my birthday my dream gift would be a car...but yeah right like im ever getting one... maybe eventually. So im asking for a beach cruiser, my birthday is exactly one week away and I will be 18! oh me oh my! Im also having a birthday party next friday and its 50s theme, im so excited! There will be greasers, The pink ladies and 50s little housewives. So i ordered my bike off of chubbys cruisers and this is what it looks like!

to top this girly bike off, all i need is a basket to put abby in and a I Love My Bike Bell. haha just kidding I dont think I want to be the annoying girl on the bike ringing the bell.

I just want spring/summer to come so I can ride to flos.

So Ottus, is my little owl incense burner. My best friend Jenna gave him to me for Christmas and she thought of the name and it just fit him perfectly! I just reminded myself I have to use him tonight.

I bought these earrings off of Market Publique. They are really Yves Saint Laurent zipper pulls but the seller Erica Weiner made them into earrings. Very creative! I applied for a seller at Market Publique and got accepted so now I just have to get my clothing on the roll.

This is my good friend emily! Oh and don't mind my slippers hah, my feet were freeeezing. This was taken yesterday, we went to go see Avatar and went back to her cute little cottage. I highly recommend Avatar, such a goooood movie, and i'm not even a sci-fi chick!

This morning my family and I left the little town of conyingham pennsylvania and started our trek home. These pictures are from New Years Eve. Just a little daily outfit post but from yesterday hah.This is the day of new years eve, we just ran some errands like going to the local supermarket, Goulds and going to our favorite little restaurant in Hazelton, The Knotty Pines. My Uncles Sister is married to the owner so we have been going there since I've been little, its just so yummy and old fashioned!This is new years eve, we went to my aunt and uncle friends little party. I talked to lady whose daughter was a buyer for Marc Jacobs, she told me to send her my resume after college or if I ever want to intern there to let her know! That literally made my night. This is my aunts 50 era bathroom, love the mirror!

OHMAGAWD. I cannot believe I forgot to mention that I have been accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology. My mom was bringing in the mail on sunday, because we were all a little slow and forgot about it on saturday. I saw the letter and looked, it said Congratulations right on the cover. I have take 5 precollege courses and attend a technical school for fashion,I'm just so happy my dream has actually came true!

Merry Belated Christmas and a Happy New Year! Right at this moment I am in Cunningham, Pennslyvania. My fathers home town. He was born here and I love coming here every year, its very different from Long Island. My aunt and uncle still live here, so we come here for christmas. So, last year maria went to coachella and had a greattt time. This year me jenna and maria want to go badly! I even have enough money saved up, shocking I know. First we wanted to camp out now not so sure because jenna, the little baby she is will only be 17. And you have to be 18. Anyways hopefully all will work out.

Wow. The blogworld moves by so fast I feel like its passing me by while im just standing here, watching. Anyways hmm wednesday I went thrifting, I found so many treasures.but I got 3 pairs of shoes and a dress, vest, bag and earrings. All for the cheap price of $9 bucks. You gotta love St. Anns Church thrift store. The vest is from Bergdorf Goodmans probably from the late 80s early 90s. But these shoes I got are a size 6, maria you better fit in them!

Also on saturday after my class we all went downtown to the marc jacobs store, I got a few little gifts. Also did the "one for you and oooh one for me" tactic haha but i got this coooool shirt from marc jacobs for 5 bucks welll maria spotted it first

Inane

Inane is an adjective and can mean anything from silly to idiotic. That's exactly how I felt all day Saturday. It started off with the rain, at first I didn't mind the mist and fog, I actually thought it looked quite mysterious. Then it got testy with me. I went into UO and found the cutest pair of DEENA & OZZY wedges and ran right to the cashier to pay. Then maria and I ran 17 blocks in 16 minutes to get to Penn once we got to the terminal the trains doors just closed. ooh we missed that train. Let's just say we looked like hot messes. My hair was the size of a afro,my face was beet red and I was sweating uncontrollably. My day got even worse when I got on the train and realized my cute shoes were really two left shoes.
